You can find lots of useful information on this web site. There is a complete set of newsletters archived on the site with an index to scan through the titles and go directly to any article you want to read. There is also a site search feature where you can enter a topic and pull up a list of all pages that mention your topic.

There is a change in both of the Gelbvieh Alliance Grids.
The Gelbvieh Alliance grids now offer a premium for Upper 2/3 Choice Black or non-Black. (Grand Island plant only)
As of this week's kill they pay $3.50 for Upper 2/3 Choice non-black. The premium is called "Armour Premium".
Their CAB premiums are still $1.00 on their muscle grid and $3.00 on their marbling grid.
The Gelbvieh Alliance grids start docking for heavies at 1000 lbs rather than 950 as most other grids do.

There is a change in the GeneNet Grid.
Angus GeneNet now has the highest premium for Upper 2/3 Choice Black or non-Black. (Grand Island plant only)
As of this week's kill GeneNet offers $3.50 for Upper 2/3 Choice non-black. The premium is called "Armour Premium".
The CAB Premium is still $4.50.
The Charolais people are getting behind this grid and Ken is calling it Charolais GeneNet for their customers. Data on Charolais sired cattle will be forwarded to that association. If you have a mixed load we need to know which cattle are Charolais sired. Ken also sends data to the Red Angus Association on Red Angus tagged cattle.
